Purpose of Role:

The purpose of this position is to prepare accurate and reliable process engineering deliverables that support safe, efficient, and cost-effective project execution. The Process Engineer contributes to successful project delivery through: Accurate Engineering Calculations, High-Quality Engineering Deliverables, Effective Technical Coordination, Engineering Documentation, Continuous Technical Development The role plays an essential part in delivering technically sound engineering solutions while supporting the overall success of multidisciplinary EPC projects.

Job Summary:

The Process Engineer - Level II is responsible for preparing process engineering deliverables, performing engineering calculations, supporting multidisciplinary engineering activities, and contributing to the successful execution of engineering, procurement, and EPC projects. The role supports the Lead Process Engineer in developing safe, efficient, and technically sound process designs while coordinating with Mechanical, Piping, Instrumentation & Controls, Procurement, Project Management,



and Quality teams throughout the project lifecycle. The Process Engineer is expected to demonstrate strong analytical ability, technical competence, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous learning while progressively developing into a technical leader.

Job Profile:

A. Process Engineering & Technical Deliverables

- Prepare Process Design Basis and Design Criteria.
- Perform Heat & Material Balance calculations.
- Prepare and update Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs;).
- Perform hydraulic calculations, utility calculations, and equipment sizing.
- Prepare process datasheets, line lists, utility summaries, and engineering reports.

B. Engineering Coordination

- Coordinate with Mechanical, Piping, Civil, Structural, Electrical, and Instrumentation disciplines.
- Support multidisciplinary engineering reviews.
- Resolve routine engineering coordination issues.
- Provide process inputs to other engineering disciplines.

C. Technical Support & Design Reviews

- Participate in technical meetings and design reviews.
- Support HAZOP workshops and client review meetings.
- Respond to technical queries from internal teams.
- Assist with engineering studies and technical evaluations.

D. Procurement & Vendor Engineering Support

- Prepare technical requisitions and process datasheets.
- Review vendor documents.
- Support technical bid evaluations.
- Assist procurement during vendor clarification activities.
- Support inspection and FAT activities where required.

E. Engineering Documentation & Quality

- Prepare engineering documents in accordance with company standards.
- Maintain revision control.
- Ensure engineering calculations are complete and traceable.
- Support QA/QC reviews.
- Maintain engineering records.

F. Commissioning & Technical Support

- Support commissioning activities.
- Assist during plant start-up.
- Participate in troubleshooting.
- Support process performance evaluations.
- Recommend practical engineering improvements.

Desired Profile:

- BE / B.Tech (Mechanical / Chemical / Process / Industrial) or a related Engineering discipline with 2 to 5 yrs. experience in process engineering, engineering design, or EPC project execution.
- Experience in process industries or engineering consultancy is preferred.
- Expertise in Process Designing for Engineering & EPC, Pharmaceuticals, Specialty Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Oil & Gas, Fertilizers, Food & Beverage, Process Equipment Manufacturing, Industrial Plants etc.
- Exposure in to Process Calculations, Heat & Material Balance, Equipment Sizing, Hydraulic Calculations, PFD & P&ID; Preparation, Utility System Design, Process Safety Fundamentals, Engineering Documentation, Technical Problem Solving, Engineering Standards.
- Deliver accurate engineering calculations and process deliverables.
- Complete assigned work within approved schedules.
- Produce engineering documentation requiring minimal revisions.
- Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Support procurement and project execution activities.
- Maintain engineering quality and documentation standards.
- Demonstrate continuous technical improvement.
- Take ownership of assigned engineering responsibilities.
- Represent company professionally in all technical interactions.
- Solid Knowledge of Aspen HYSYS / Aspen Plus (Preferred), AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, ERP Systems, Microsoft Teams.
