Role & responsibilities
- Handling and development of vendors for fabrication of Heat Exchangers (HE), structures, tanks, machining, drilling, and forming operations.
- Responsible for new vendor development, vendor evaluation, negotiation, and maintaining robust vendor relationships.
- Proactive in vendor follow-up, inspection activities, and ensuring timely completion of work at vendor locations in and around Pune.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems along with planning and coordination of vendor activities.
Preferred candidate profile
- Experience of 3-8 yrs fabrication preferably in SS, Exotic material & fabrication.
- Good knowledge of product costing, market trends, raw materials, material specifications, and applicable code requirements.
- Good understanding of ASME codes, product quality requirements, and manufacturing processes such as welding and polishing.
