technical gaps before production deployment.
Work with developers to take applications from their current stage through completion,
testing, deployment and stable production operations.
Troubleshoot application, database, server and infrastructure issues and conduct Root
Cause Analysis (RCA).
Monitor application performance and identify whether issues originate from the
application, database, network or infrastructure.
Ensure public-facing applications are designed for appropriate scalability, availability,
monitoring and recovery.
Maintain separate and controlled Development, UAT and Production environments.
Security, Monitoring & Reliability
Own infrastructure and server security, including firewalls, IAM, access controls,
server hardening and security patching.
Establish monitoring, logging and alerting for servers, applications, databases and
infrastructure.
Manage backups, disaster recovery and business-continuity processes.
