Job Description: Senior Manager Human Resources (HRBP)
Location: Alwar, Rajasthan
Department: Human Resources
Reports To: Head of HR / Business Head
Employment Type: Full-Time
Role Overview
The Senior Manager – HR (Business Partner) will serve as a strategic consultant and advisor to business leaders in the Alwar region. In this role, you will align HR initiatives with overarching business objectives, drive a high-performance culture, and act as a champion for employee engagement. You will be the primary HR point of contact for the Alwar operations, balancing strategic talent management with day-to-day operational HR excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnership
- Partner directly with regional business heads and line managers to understand operational goals and design HR strategies that drive productivity and growth.
- Act as a change agent, managing organizational transformation, restructuring, and change management initiatives within the Alwar facility.
- Analyze HR metrics (attrition, absenteeism, productivity) to identify trends and recommend proactive, data-driven solutions to leadership.
Talent & Performance Management
- Drive the annual performance management cycle, ensuring goal alignment, regular feedback, and fair appraisals.
- Identify high-potential talent and develop robust succession plans for critical roles within the unit.
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to forecast manpower requirements and ensure the timely hiring of top-tier talent.
- Identify skill gaps and partner with the Learning & Development team to design targeted training interventions.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work environment.
- Act as an impartial mediator for conflict resolution, addressing employee grievances promptly and effectively.
- Design and execute localized employee engagement initiatives to boost morale and reduce turnover.
- Conduct regular "pulse checks" and skip-level meetings to gauge employee sentiment.
Compliance & Operations (If applicable to the facility)
- Ensure full compliance with all local and national labor laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- For manufacturing/plant setups: Oversee Industrial Relations (IR), maintaining harmonious relationships with unions or worker committees and ensuring a secure working environment.
- Drive HR operational excellence, ensuring payroll, attendance, and onboarding processes run seamlessly.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Master’s Degree or MBA in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Experience: 8–12 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3–4 years in a dedicated HR Business Partner role.
- Industry Preference: Prior experience in Manufacturing, FMCG, or Heavy Engineering is highly preferred given the Alwar market,
