Summary
Aerospace multibody dynamics engineer responsible for kinematic and dynamic simulation of aircraft mechanisms using MSC ADAMS including parts, assembly and joints/connections modelling, adaptable-body modal validation, and automation of pre- and post-processing tasks.
Role & responsibilities
- Working exposure to FEM tools, modelling and drafting environments.
-Thorough knowledge of multibody dynamics simulation rigid/flexible body systems, degrees of freedom, constraints, and equations of motion.
- Set up and run kinematic simulations; verify mechanism mobility (Gruebler count / redundant constraints); evaluate position, velocity, and acceleration.
- Thorough knowledge of creating parts, assemblies, and joints/connections; perform dynamic analysis under applied loads and motions.
-Experience creating automation scripts for pre- and post-processing with MSC ADAMS (ADAMS/View command language, macros, batch runs).
- Experience performing modal validation checks; integrate flexible-body modes (MNF) from FE tools and correlate/validate modal behaviour.
- Thorough knowledge of end-to-end multibody kinematic and dynamic analysis using MSC ADAMS for aerospace mechanisms.
