To ensure disciplined credit governance by reducing overdue exposure, enabling timely dealer onboarding and order authorization, driving balance confirmations, MIS, channel finance, legal recovery actions, audit compliance, SAP HANA/UAT implementation, process automation, and responsive support to Sales and other functions.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic
Support framing and implementation of credit policies, procedures and controls to minimize credit risk and ensure compliance.
Drive credit governance, overdue review cadence with Sales, channel finance initiatives for Adhesives and recent Paints business, and SAP HANA/automation improvements.
Align team members and Sales teams with company vision, mission, strategic goals and Credit Control policy through induction and refresher communication.
Financial
Reduction in overdue / DSO through structured ageing reviews, follow-ups and Sales coordination.
Monitor dealer exposure, credit limits and eligible order release; ensure timely demand notice/legal initiation wherever required.
Obtain 100% balance confirmations twice in a year and maintain reliable receivable/MIS data for business decision-making.
Operational
Complete dealer onboarding within T+1, subject to receipt of complete documents and required approvals.
Monitor and authorize 100% eligible dealer orders within the same working day for GEM/Paints business as per policy.
Prepare and circulate all Credit Control MIS, overdue ageing, review data, audit responses and ad-hoc reports within timelines.
Ensure zero audit escalation for Credit Control through timely documentation, compliance closure and control adherence.
Lead/support end-to-end UAT and implementation of SAP HANA for Paints CC activities as per defined timelines and business requirements.
Support automation of existing processes; ensure business continuity during team absence with no missed tasks, disruption or escalation.
- Respond to Sales and inter-department queries within expected timelines and conduct induction/update sessions on Credit Policy and CC workflows.
