Business Development Executive

No Fluff is seeking a sharp Business Development Executive to join our core team. This role is perfect for sales strategists who understand that business development is where psychology meets persuasion. Youll be driving our agencys growth through strategic client acquisition while leading a team that transforms prospects into long-term partners.

This isnt a research-only role. Youll work directly with creative, strategy, and client teams to ensure every piece of work we produce is grounded in how humans actually think, decide, and buy.

What You Will Be Doing

The Big Picture Stuff:

- Lead and scale our business development strategy (because growth doesnt happen by accident)

- Own our entire sales pipeline and revenue targets, planning and achieving quarterly BD goals aligned with the organisations potential and your assigned targets

- Develop relationships with key decision-makers across industries that matter

- Create and optimise our sales processes to ensure scalability and efficiency

- Align with strategy and creative teams from the outset, so what you pitch is exactly what we can deliver

- Partner with the marketing team to keep our paid media and social communications consistent, work with the email outreach team to sharpen campaigns from a BD angle, and feed lead insights to the performance marketing team to improve ad strategy

- Dig into win/loss patterns on significant deals and feed those learnings back into strategy, pitching, and targeting

The Day-to-Day Magic:





- Run pitch meetings and discovery calls that uncover what keeps our prospects up at night

- Draft, design, and format proposals and pitch deliverables - comprehensive, on-brand, and true to what was agreed with the prospect on the call

- Manage each prospect independently from first contact through to closing, and lead client meetings that keep them engaged and informed throughout

- Research, identify, call, and promptly respond to warm and inbound leads to understand their needs and convert them

- Track pipeline health daily - deal stages, conversions, and progress against targets

- Develop case studies and other collateral that help convert cold leads

- Nurture leads all the way to conversion - or to a long-term relationship with No Fluff, even where that means minimal ongoing contact

- Keep our CRM squeaky clean through regular reviews and audits, and manage internal team follow-ups and briefings so nothing falls through the cracks

What We Are Looking For

Essential Experience

- 2+ years of proven sales experience in a digital marketing, creative agency, or related field

- A track record of hitting sales targets and building a repeatable, scalable BD process

- Experience with CRM systems and disciplined pipeline hygiene





- Robust understanding of digital marketing, social media, and creative services

- Exceptional communication skills - you can explain complex ideas to anyone, from a startup founder to a corporate CEO

- The ability to think on your feet and adapt faster than a chameleon in a rainbow factory
