Position Purpose

We are looking for a CMA Qualified Costing & Finance Professional to join our Finance & Accounts team as an Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Costing.

The role will be responsible for product costing, cost control, budgeting, profitability analysis, cost audits, and business financial analysis, supporting strategic and operational decision-making within the manufacturing unit.

The ideal candidate should have strong exposure to manufacturing costing, SAP, profitability analysis, budgeting, and cost optimization, preferably within the Automotive / Auto Component industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain accurate product costing for existing and new products to support pricing and profitability decisions.
- Review, validate, and finalize supplier cost cards, ensuring cost transparency and competitiveness.
- Conduct monthly Raw Material Consumption (RMC) – Estimate vs. Actual analysis and identify key cost variances.
- Calculate and analyze Labour Hour Rate (LHR), Machine Hour Rate (MHR), and Activity Hour Rate (AHR) based on actual operational results.
- Independently handle Cost Audit activities and ensure compliance with applicable statutory requirements.
- Track and coordinate Budgeted and Unbudgeted Price Increase (PI) proposals with the Marketing team through C-Point meetings and ensure timely closure.
- Prepare Annual Sales Budget, Raw Material Consumption Budget, and Long-Term Planning (LTP) financial projections.
- Perform Product Category Profitability Analysis (ROYG) and provide actionable insights to improve margins.
- Monitor product-wise, customer-wise, and business unit profitability and recommend cost optimization opportunities.
- Support management through timely MIS reports,



variance analysis, and cost control initiatives.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Procurement, Production, and Finance teams for effective cost management and business decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cost efficiency, process controls, and overall financial performance.

Preferred Skills & Experience

- CMA Qualified – Mandatory.
- 3–10 years of relevant experience in a Manufacturing Industry.
- Strong knowledge of Product Costing and Manufacturing Finance.
- Hands-on experience in SAP, preferably CO/MM/FI modules.
- Advanced MS Excel and Financial Analysis skills.
- Positive knowledge of Cost Audit, Budgeting, and Business Planning.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in Automotive / Auto Component Manufacturing will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and cost drivers.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a CMA Qualified professional with 6–10 years of manufacturing costing experience, preferably from the Automotive / Auto Component industry, with strong hands-on exposure to product costing, cost audit, profitability analysis, budgeting, SAP, and cost control.
