Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Temenos T24 / TAFJ Java Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Java development, T24 customization, TAFJ, OFS processing, and local code development. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing banking applications, including Core Banking, AML, and Reporting systems, based on Temenos products.

The role requires strong technical and analytical capabilities, with the ability to understand functional requirements, prepare technical designs, develop and test solutions, and provide support across test environments and deployment activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain, enhance, and improve banking systems based on Temenos T24 products, including Core Banking, AML, and Reporting applications.
- Perform system analysis, impact analysis, coding, debugging, and unit testing.
- Develop and maintain local/customized code using Java, TAFJ, InfoBasic, and componentized coding practices.
- Analyze BRD/FSD documents and prepare detailed Technical Specification Documents (TSD).
- Develop and customize T24 APIs, including screen modifications and creation of new inquiries.
- Perform T24 customization and support OFS (Open Financial Services) processing.
- Develop, modify, and maintain Java-based components using TAFJ.
- Support application testing environments, including package preparation, deployment, troubleshooting, and defect resolution.




- Manage and maintain code libraries and reusable components.
- Collaborate closely with Senior IT members, technical leads, team managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders.
- Investigate production and testing issues and provide appropriate technical solutions.
- Follow established coding standards, development processes, and change-management procedures.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure quality, maintainability, and performance of developed solutions.
- Prepare technical documentation related to development, customization, and deployment activities.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in Java development, preferably at L3/support and development level.
- Hands-on experience with Temenos T24.
- Good working knowledge of TAFJ (Temenos Application Framework for Java).
- Experience in T24 customization and local code development.
- Experience developing componentized code.
- Strong knowledge of T24 APIs.
- Experience with OFS processing.
- Experience in code library management and reusable components.
- Ability to understand BRD/FSD and translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Experience in unit testing, debugging, and production/test workplace support.
- Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux commands and environments.

Good to Have

- Experience with InfoBasic / jBASE/TAFC development.
- Experience working with Temenos Core Banking, AML, and Reporting modules.
- Knowledge of T24 screens, inquiries, versions, routines, and application components.
- Experience with banking/financial services applications.
- Exposure to CI/CD, source-code management, and release/deployment processes.
