Thomson Reuters Foundation is looking for a Programme Coordinator to join our TrustLaw team, within our Access to Law programme.
Under our Access to Law programme, we work with lawyers, civil society and media organisations to make the law more accessible to those who need it most. We facilitate access to law through our leading legal services and programmes, including TrustLaw, the world's leading pro bono legal service. TrustLaw partners with leading law firms and corporate legal teams to facilitate free legal assistance, critical operational support, actionable data and resources for civil society organisations, social enterprises and independent media around the globe. TrustLaw also produces original legal research on key social and policy issues to support advocacy and law reform, and delivers capacity-building workshops on legal topics worldwide.
About the Role
The Programme Coodinator plays a central role in the Access to Law team,
coordinating the day-to-day running of our TrustLaw pro bono service and ensuring robust service standards. This is a client-facing role, supporting our membership (non-profits, social enterprises, legal teams, and other beneficiaries, as appropriate) to engage with the TrustLaw service, and providing comprehensive support to the Access to Law team which is globally distributed.
You will report to Global Legal Manager as part of the Global Legal Team, working alongside a Legal Research Officer (also based in Mumbai).
This is a permanent role based in Mumbai.
