Role Objective

Drive the implementation of optimal sourcing strategies aligned with Moglix’s business objectives and deliver value across segments. The role will focus on scaling new/chosen categories by tracking industry trends, identifying opportunities, leveraging data analytics, and driving strategic sourcing initiatives.

The candidate should be a go-getter with strong problem-solving skills, high ownership, and the ability to consistently improve Supplier NPS.

Key Responsibilities

- Streamline end-to-end sourcing operations across locations and coordinate with Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Success, Regional Business, and other teams to fulfil business requirements.
- Coordinate with the Catalog team for product listing, cataloging, and pricing strategies, while monitoring the complete supplier-to-customer product discovery cycle.
- Implement best practices in procurement and supplier management to manage vendor risk, performance, and relationships.
- Drive technology adoption by onboarding vendors onto Moglix technology platforms and encouraging them to manage orders, inventory, and account statements through the platform.




- Identify and onboard current vendors across markets to develop reliable supplier partnerships and enhance service capabilities.
- Execute sourcing strategies across Moglix to ensure consistent and high-quality value delivery.
- Manage suppliers/vendors across different product categories.
- Work closely with the Category team on strategic initiatives to drive category growth.
- Drive standardization of products, processes, and pricing.
- Ensure financial compliance across taxation, accounts receivables/payables, and periodic vendor reconciliation.
- Analyse sourcing data, track pan-India sourcing KPIs, identify gaps, and drive RCA and corrective actions.

Candidate Profile

Experience:

- 3+ years of experience in Sourcing & Procurement, preferably within the Manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of strategic sourcing tactics.
- Excellent Sales/Business Development skills.
- Startup experience would be an added advantage.
- High level of ownership and willingness to build and set up processes from scratch.

Education:

- Graduate degree from a reputed institute; B.Tech preferred.
- MBA from a reputed institute is desirable.
