Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Functional Head SAP PM/QM to lead digital transformation initiatives across Plant Maintenance and Quality Management functions. The role will be responsible for driving SAP PM/QM strategy, solution design, system optimisation, and process excellence across manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise in maintenance management, quality assurance, asset reliability, and SAP PM/QM implementations within large manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

SAP Strategy & Leadership

- Define and drive the SAP PM/QM roadmap aligned with business and manufacturing objectives.
- Lead SAP transformation, implementation, rollout, and process standardisation initiatives.
- Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Manufacturing, and IT teams to identify process improvement opportunities.
- Drive adoption of best practices in asset management, preventive maintenance, quality control, and plant operations.

SAP PM/QM Solution Delivery

- Lead end-to-end SAP PM/QM implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects.
- Oversee solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Ensure seamless integration of SAP PM/QM with MM, PP, SD, and FICO modules.
- Manage system enhancements, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement projects.

Maintenance & Quality Excellence

- Optimise preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, work order management, and asset reliability processes.
- Drive improvements in inspection planning, quality assurance, quality control, and compliance management.
- Improve equipment uptime, maintenance efficiency, and quality performance across manufacturing facilities.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and audit controls.





Team & Stakeholder Management

- Lead and mentor SAP PM/QM consultants and project teams.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective SAP solutions.
- Manage relationships with implementation partners and technology vendors.
- Conduct user training and change management initiatives to enhance system adoption.

Required Skills

- Strong expertise in SAP PM and SAP QM modules.
- Hands-on experience in Plant Maintenance, Asset Management, Preventive Maintenance, Quality Planning, Inspection Management, and Quality Assurance.
- Experience in SAP implementation, rollout, migration, and support projects.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, maintenance planning, and quality management processes.
- Experience integrating SAP PM/QM with MM, PP, SD, and FICO modules.
- Robust project management, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in Manufacturing, Paper, Textile, Chemical, FMCG, or Process Industries.
- 15-20 years
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA transformation projects.
- Experience managing multi-plant maintenance and quality operations.
- Knowledge of reliability engineering, TPM, predictive maintenance, and quality excellence frameworks.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Operations, or related discipline.
- MBA or Master's Degree preferred.
- SAP PM/QM Certification preferred.
