Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a Modern Trade Sales Manager to develop and manage the Modern Trade business for SILVER TREE branded food products in Jaipur/Rajasthan.

The candidate will be responsible for:

- Developing business with Modern Trade chains, supermarkets and organized retail accounts.
- Getting SILVER TREE products listed and activated in new Modern Trade accounts.
- Meeting and coordinating with buyers, category managers, purchase teams and store management.
- Negotiating margins, commercial terms, schemes, promotions and visibility within company-approved limits.
- Managing purchase orders, supplies, product availability and account-wise sales.
- Regularly visiting stores to monitor stock, shelf availability, pricing, placement and competitor activity.
- Growing secondary sales from existing Modern Trade accounts.
- Coordinating promotions and new product/SKU launches.
- Following up on claims, deductions, outstanding payments and account reconciliation.
- Identifying and opening new Modern Trade accounts in Jaipur/Rajasthan.
- Preparing account-wise sales, stock and performance reports.

Preferred candidate profile

- 3-6 years of sales experience with relevant Modern Trade exposure.




- Prior experience in FMCG / packaged foods / grocery products strongly preferred.
- Candidate should have practical experience dealing with Up-to-date Trade buyers/category managers.
- Experience in product listing, commercial negotiation, schemes and Modern Trade account management preferred.
- Existing relationships with Modern Trade buyers/accounts in Jaipur/Rajasthan will be a strong advantage.
- Should understand primary sales, secondary sales, stock availability and store-level execution.
- Good negotiation, communication and Excel/reporting skills.
- Must be comfortable with regular market and store visits.
- Two-wheeler required.

Candidates having only General Trade / distributor / kirana field-sales experience without Modern Trade exposure may not be suitable for this position.

46 LPA CTC, depending on relevant experience and capability.

Fixed salary + performance-linked variable component.

Performance will be linked to Modern Trade sales growth, new account/SKU activation, execution and account profitability.
