Roles and Responsibilities :
- Design, implement, and maintain storage solutions using NetApp storage area network (SAN) and virtual machineware (VMWare).
- Ensure high availability of storage resources by monitoring performance metrics and performing proactive maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop technical solutions that meet those needs.
- Troubleshoot complex issues related to SAN connectivity, VMWare virtualization, and NAS file system management.
Job Requirements :
- 4-6 years of experience in storage administration with expertise in NetApp storage products (e.g., FAS, VCS).
- Robust understanding of VMWare administration including vCenter Server configuration and troubleshooting.
- Experience with SAN fabric technologies such as Brocade or Cisco MDS.
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems and scripting languages like Python or Perl.
