In this role, you ll design, build and maintain the high-volume business logic that runs on the mainframe. At the same time you ll play a key role in refactoring legacy code to enable modern cloud and mobile applications to seamlessly interact with the mainframe s core data.

Responsibilities

- Maintain Performance: Prevent decay and find efficiencies: Monitor the architecture and identify opportunities to optimize code to maintain and enhance mainframe performance.
- Debug and Test: Find and fix: Debug, troubleshoot, and analyze complex system interactions to keep mission-critical applications running.
- Develop for the Future: Bridge the gap: As an instrumental player in modernization, you ll extract business logic from legacy systems for migration or integration with cloud-based services.

Required Skills and Experience

- Design, and implement enterprise-scale automation solutions using Ansible and Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.
- Build and manage scalable container platforms using Docker and container orchestration technologies.
- Design and maintain enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Automate server provisioning, application deployment, configuration management, and operational workflows.
- Develop reusable automation frameworks, custom modules, playbooks, templates, and shared automation libraries.
- Integrate enterprise tools and third-party platforms using REST APIs, web services, and automation connectors.




- Create automation standards, governance processes, and best practices for infrastructure and platform operations.
- Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, security, application, and operations teams to deliver scalable automation solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex deployment, integration, and infrastructure issues across enterprise environments.
- Drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and automation maturity across the organization.

Preferred Skills and Experience

- Strong hands-on expertise with Ansible and Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.
- Extensive experience in infrastructure automation and configuration management.
- Strong knowledge of container technologies, container setup, and orchestration platforms.
- Advanced experience with Azure DevOps including CI/CD pipeline implementation and release automation.
- Running test cases for automation validation.
- Proven experience integrating enterprise applications through REST APIs and custom automation modules.
- Strong scripting and automation development skills in: PowerShell, Shell scripting, Python
