A reputed multi-speciality hospital in Ankleshwar is looking for an experienced and responsible Nursing In-Charge to supervise nursing operations and ensure high standards of patient care across the hospital.
The ideal candidate should have robust clinical knowledge, leadership skills and proven experience in managing nursing staff within a hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the nursing staff.
- Ensure quality and compassionate patient care across assigned departments.
- Allocate nursing duties and prepare staff schedules as required.
- Monitor nursing staff performance, discipline and adherence to hospital procedures.
- Ensure compliance with nursing standards, hospital policies and clinical protocols.
- Coordinate with doctors and other departments to ensure smooth patient care.
- Monitor patient needs and address nursing-related concerns promptly.
- Ensure proper maintenance of nursing records and patient documentation.
- Monitor medication administration, infection-control practices and patient safety procedures.
- Support the nursing team during emergencies and critical situations.
- Identify training and development requirements for nursing staff.
- Conduct regular rounds and monitor the overall quality of nursing services.
- Report operational and clinical issues to hospital management.
- Ensure proper handover and communication between nursing shifts.
Eligibility & Skills
- B.Sc. Nursing / GNM from a recognised institution.
- Minimum 5–8 years of hospital nursing experience.
- Previous experience in a Nursing In-Charge / senior nursing supervisory role will be preferred.
- Strong leadership and team-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of nursing procedures, patient care and hospital protocols.
- Strong understanding of infection control and patient safety.
- Ability to manage staff, resolve issues and work under pressure.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, if required.
Salary
₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month
Salary will be based on the candidate's qualification, relevant experience, leadership skills and overall suitability for the role.
