To conduct final quality inspections of vehicles after service, repair or bodyshop work and ensure that every vehicle meets company quality standards before delivery to the customer.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct final inspection of vehicles after completion of service or repair.
- Verify that all jobs mentioned in the Job Card have been completed correctly.
- Check vehicle body, paint finish, fitment, alignment and overall appearance after bodyshop repairs.
- Check mechanical and electrical functions relevant to the completed repair.
- Conduct road tests when required to verify vehicle performance and identify abnormal noise, vibration or other issues.
- Check warning lights, lights, horn, indicators, brakes, steering and other applicable functions.
- Verify that required parts, accessories and components are properly fitted.
- Identify defects, incomplete work, rework and quality issues before vehicle delivery.
- Coordinate with technicians, Service Advisors and Bodyshop In-Charge for rectification of identified issues.
- Re-inspect vehicles after rectification and approve them for delivery.
- Ensure vehicles are clean and properly presented before customer delivery.
- Verify that no tools, waste materials or loose components are left inside the vehicle.
- Maintain records of inspection, defects, rework and final approval.
- Monitor repeated quality issues and report them to the Service Manager.
- Support implementation of company quality standards and SOPs.
- Ensure customer complaints related to previous repairs are properly addressed before delivery.
- Follow all workshop safety and quality procedures.
Quality Control Responsibilities
- Maintain a “First Time Right” approach.
- Minimize rework, repeat repairs and customer complaints.
- Monitor common defects and identify their root causes.
- Report recurring technical and workmanship issues to management.
- Ensure vehicles are released only after satisfactory final inspection.

- Final inspection accuracy

- Repeat repair / repeat complaint percentage

Qualifications & Experience
- ITI / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Experience in automobile service, bodyshop or quality inspection preferred.
- Positive knowledge of vehicle mechanical, electrical and body repair systems.
- Good observation and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to identify workmanship and quality defects.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
