A well-established apparel buying office in Tirupur is looking for a seasoned, highly skilled Senior Apparel Merchandiser. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience handling major European and USA buyers. Core Key Responsibilities

Buyer Communication: Manage direct, independent, and fluent daily communication with European and USA buyers.

End-to-End Approvals:

Oversee entire sampling and approval processes, including proto, fit, lab dips, print strikes, and pre-production samples.

Factory Follow-up:

Conduct rigorous, daily follow-ups with production factories in Tirupur to ensure strict adherence to Time & Action (TNA) calendars.

Problem Solving:

Proactively identify and resolve production bottlenecks to secure on-time shipments.

Technical Skills & Product ProfileGarment Profile:

Expert technical knowledge in managing Knits garments, including T-shirts, Polo shirts, Hoodies,



Pyjamas, Joggers, and loungewear.

Fabric Mastery:

Deep understanding of knitted fabrics, variations, and weights (Single Jersey, Fleece, Interlock, Rib, Pique, etc.).

Printing Expertise:

Solid knowledge of different print techniques (Chest prints, AOP, Pigment, Plastisol, High-density, Digital) and print quality evaluation.

Quality Standard:

Strong knowledge of fabric shrinkages, color fastness, testing protocols, and international quality standards.

Candidate RequirementsExperience:

Strictly 15+ years of core merchandising experience in a Tirupur buying house or export house.

Communication:

Native-level fluency in written and spoken English is absolute mandatory.

Stability:

A proven track record of employment stability. Frequent job-hoppers will not be considered.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
