- Admit new patients and record medical history
- Perform physical exams and daily ward rounds
- Monitor patient vitals and recovery progress
- Order lab tests and x-rays
- Update treatment files per consultant instructions
Emergencies and Procedures
- Respond quickly to urgent calls and code blues
- Stabilize sick patients before specialists arrive
- Assist surgeons in the operation theater
- Perform routine medical tasks like IV lines or blood draws
Communication and Administrative Work
- Update senior consultants on patient status
- Coordinate care with nurses and pharmacy staff
- Write explicit daily notes and discharge summaries
- Certify deaths and sign official forms when required
