Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Recruiter based in India to support our U.S. healthcare recruiting operations. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of experience recruiting healthcare professionals for U.S.-based employers.
This person will manage the recruiting process from candidate sourcing and initial screening through interview coordination and placement. The recruiter should be comfortable speaking with U.S.-based candidates, evaluating healthcare experience, maintaining accurate records, and working toward weekly and monthly performance goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Source qualified healthcare candidates using LinkedIn, Indeed, job boards, resume databases, social media, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
- Recruit for clinical, administrative, and revenue-cycle positions, including:
- Medical Assistants
- Registered Nurses
- Nurse Practitioners
- Medical Receptionists
- Medical Billers and Coders
- Review resumes and determine whether candidates meet the position requirements.
- Conduct initial telephone or video interviews with candidates.
- Evaluate candidates’ experience, certifications, licenses, communication skills, compensation expectations, availability, and career goals.
- Confirm candidate interest before submitting profiles to clients.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Follow up with candidates throughout the interview and hiring process.
- Assist with reference checks, license verification, background-check coordination, and onboarding documentation.
- Maintain accurate candidate information, interview notes, and activity records in the applicant tracking system.
- Build and maintain pipelines of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
- Develop long-term relationships with healthcare professionals.
- Meet weekly targets for candidate outreach, interviews, submissions, and placements.
- Provide regular recruiting updates to management.
- Protect confidential candidate and client information.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Two to three years of recruiting experience.
- Previous experience recruiting for the U.S. healthcare market is strongly preferred.
- Understanding of healthcare positions, licenses, certifications, and clinical terminology.
- Experience using LinkedIn, Indeed, job boards, applicant tracking systems, and resume databases.
- Strong resume-screening and interviewing skills.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Confidence communicating with healthcare professionals in the United States.
- Strong organization, follow-up, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Reliable computer, high-speed internet connection, headset, and professional home workspace.
- Willingness to work hours that overlap with U.S. Central Time.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting Medical Assistants, RNs, NPs, medical-office personnel, or revenue-cycle professionals.
- Familiarity with U.S. healthcare credentials, including RN and APRN licenses, BLS, ACLS, CMA, CPC, and similar certifications.
- Experience with permanent placement or direct-hire recruiting.
- Knowledge of Boolean search and other candidate-sourcing techniques.
- Experience working with healthcare clinics, medical groups, or staffing companies.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted recruiting and candidate-assessment tools.
