Key skills/JD
- Design and implement signal processing algorithms for GNSS receivers (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, NavIC).
- Develop and integrate adaptive beamforming and null steering algorithms (e.g., CRPA – Controlled Reception Pattern Antenna).
- Implement signal processing algorithms in C/C++ on embedded platforms (ARM Cortex M/A, DSPs).
- Integrate algorithms with GNSS receiver firmware and antenna front end hardware.
- Perform software in the loop (SIL) and hardware in the loop (HIL) testing and validation.
- Analyze RF signal data, including FFT, spectral analysis, and interference characterization.
- Collaborate closely with RF hardware engineers, antenna designers, and system architects.
- Prepare documentation for algorithms, design choices, and test outcomes.
- Hands on experience in embedded C/C++ development.
- Solid understanding of GNSS signal structures (L1, L2, L5 bands, PRN codes, correlators).
- Knowledge of anti jamming techniques such as CRPA, FHSS, notch filtering, pulse blanking, and spatial filtering.
- Familiarity with adaptive algorithms (LMS, RLS, MVDR beamforming).
- Robust foundation in DSP concepts: FIR/IIR filters, FFT, correlation, convolution.
- Exposure to RTOS environments (FreeRTOS, VxWorks, or similar).
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink for algorithm prototyping.
- Knowledge of DO 178C, MIL STD, or other defense grade software standards.
- Exposure to SDR (Software Defined Radio) platforms.
- Familiarity with NavIC and multi constellation GNSS systems.
- Experience working with phased array antenna systems.
- Embedded toolchains: GCC ARM, Keil, Eclipse.
- Debugging tools: JTAG, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, Vector Signal Generator
- Version control: Git, SVN
- MATLAB / Python for simulation and analysis.
- Knowledge of DO 178C, MIL STD, or other defense grade software standards.
- Exposure to SDR (Software Defined Radio) platforms.
- Familiarity with multi constellation GNSS systems.
- Experience working with phased array antenna systems.
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
- Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams (hardware, RF, firmware).
- Good documentation and communication skills.
- Self driven with strong attention to detail.
