PGT Economics Teacher

Job Summary
Bharathidhasanar Group of Schools is looking for a passionate and experienced PGT Economics Teacher to teach higher secondary students and help them develop strong conceptual, analytical, and application-based understanding of Economics.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach Economics for higher secondary classes.
- Prepare effective lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
- Explain concepts such as microeconomics, macroeconomics, statistics, national income, money and banking, and economic development.
- Prepare students thoroughly for CBSE/State Board examinations.
- Conduct regular tests, evaluate answer scripts, and provide constructive feedback.
- Monitor student performance and provide additional academic support where required.
- Use smart classrooms, digital resources, and innovative teaching methodologies.
- Encourage critical thinking, analytical skills, and real-world application of economic concepts.
- Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, marks, and progress reports.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, school events, and academic activities.




- Work collaboratively with the academic team to improve student learning outcomes.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning setting.

Eligibility & Skills

- Master's Degree in Economics or relevant subject.
- B.Ed. is mandatory.
- Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the Economics curriculum and examination pattern.
- Excellent communication and classroom-management skills.
- Ability to use technology and digital teaching resources effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Preference will be given to Tamil Nadu candidates.
