Job Title: Production Chemist

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Production Chemist to manage and monitor chemical production processes while ensuring product quality, safety, and compliance with standard operating procedures. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, production documentation, quality standards, and industrial safety practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day production activities and ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
- Monitor production processes, batch operations, and chemical reactions as per approved procedures.
- Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining product quality and safety standards.
- Prepare and maintain batch manufacturing records, production reports, and other required documentation.
- Coordinate with Quality Control (QC), Quality Assurance (QA), Maintenance, and other departments.
- Identify and resolve production-related issues and process deviations.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of raw materials and chemicals.
- Follow GMP, SOP, EHS, and industrial safety guidelines.
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate with maintenance teams for breakdowns or process issues.




- Support process improvement and productivity enhancement initiatives.
- Ensure housekeeping and safety standards are maintained within the production area.

Required Qualifications

- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Biotechnology
- B.Pharm / Bachelor of Pharmacy
- Candidates with relevant qualifications in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, or related fields may also be considered.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of chemical/pharmaceutical manufacturing processes
- Understanding of GMP, SOP, EHS, and safety procedures
- Knowledge of batch production and manufacturing documentation
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a quick-paced manufacturing environment

Preferred Experience

- 4–5 years of relevant experience in Production, Chemical Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Biotechnology, or related industries.
- Experience in production planning, batch processing, documentation, and process monitoring will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
