Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible F&B; Service Captain to supervise restaurant/service operations, lead the service team, ensure guest satisfaction, and maintain high standards of food and beverage service. The candidate should have practical knowledge of IDS Software/POS billing and basic hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily restaurant, banquet, or room-service operations.
- Allocate duties to Stewards and monitor their performance.
- Welcome guests and provide professional and friendly service.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately.
- Enter orders correctly into IDS/POS Software.
- Prepare and maintain KOT/BOT as per hotel procedure.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar for timely order preparation and service.
- Check table setup, mise-en-place, cutlery, crockery, glassware, and overall restaurant readiness.
- Ensure food and beverages are served according to hotel standards.
- Handle guest complaints and special requests professionally.
- Assist guests with menu selections and provide product knowledge.
- Promote upselling of food, beverages, and special menu items.
- Prepare, verify, and settle guest bills.
- Handle room-charge postings and coordinate with the Front Office when required.
- Check guest folios and ensure correct billing.
- Assist with shift opening and closing procedures.




- Maintain daily sales, settlement, and service reports.
- Monitor restaurant inventory and service equipment.
- Conduct staff briefings and ensure proper grooming and discipline.
- Coordinate with Kitchen, Front Office, Housekeeping, and Accounts departments.
- Follow hotel SOPs, hygiene, food-safety, and workplace-safety standards.

IDS Software – Required Practical Knowledge

The candidate should have basic to good working knowledge of IDS/PMS/POS operations, depending on the hotel's system configuration:

- Guest and room identification
- Guest profile/room information
- Room-charge posting
- Restaurant/POS order entry
- KOT/BOT processing
- Bill generation
- Bill settlement and payment handling
- Discount and allowance procedures
- Guest folio checking
- Correction/void procedures as authorized
- Daily sales reports
- Cashier/shift closing procedures
- Coordination between F&B; billing and Front Office
- Basic understanding of hotel PMS and POS integration

Salary & Benefits

Salary: ₹15,500 – ₹16,500 per month
