About the Role

We are looking for a Video Editor with around 1 year of hands-on experience who has experience editing Talking Head videos and social media content.

This role is ideal for someone who has a strong understanding of video editing fundamentals and wants to grow their expertise in creating content for coaches, educators, creators, consultants, podcasts, and personal brands.

You should be comfortable working with raw footage and transforming it into clean, engaging, fast-paced, and retention-focused content.

Important: Experience with Talking Head, educational, creator, podcast, or personal-brand content is preferred. Candidates whose experience is exclusively in wedding, cinematic, travel, gaming, music-video, or similar editing styles may not be suitable for this role.Key Responsibilities

- Edit Talking Head videos for YouTube, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social media platforms.
- Perform clean cuts, trimming, sequencing, pacing, and visual storytelling.
- Create engaging jump cuts, zoom-ins/zoom-outs, transitions, and dynamic pacing.
- Add captions, subtitles, callouts, lower thirds, motion graphics, and animations.
- Add relevant B-roll, images, screenshots, and visual elements where required.
- Perform color correction, color grading, and audio cleanup.
- Synchronize background music and sound effects appropriately.
- Follow scripts, editing instructions, creative briefs, and reference videos.
- Maintain consistency with the required editing style and brand guidelines.
- Organize raw footage,



project files, assets, and exports efficiently.
- Implement feedback and revisions accurately and quickly.
- Deliver assigned projects within deadlines while maintaining quality.
- Stay updated with social-media editing trends and audience-retention techniques.
- Export videos according to the required platform, aspect ratio, resolution, and format.
- Continuously develop editing skills and improve the quality of delivered content.

Required Skills

- Around 1 year of professional or freelance video-editing experience.
- Experience editing Talking Head videos and/or social media content.
- Strong understanding of:
- Cutting and pacing
- Jump cuts
- Zooms and transitions
- Captions and subtitles
- Motion graphics
- B-roll placement
- Audio cleanup
- Background music and sound effects
- Color correction and color grading
- Social media video formats
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects is required.
- Good understanding of visual storytelling and audience retention.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to understand and implement creative feedback.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong willingness to learn and improve.
