Job Description – Stores In-Charge

Position: Stores In-Charge

A. Material Receipt & Verification

- Receive raw materials, consumables, engineering spares, PPE and other materials against approved Purchase Orders.

B. Inventory Management

- Maintain optimum stock levels for critical raw materials, consumables and spares.

- Monitor minimum, maximum and reorder levels.

- Ensure accurate physical and system inventory.

- Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic physical stock verification.

C. Storage & Preservation

- Ensure systematic storage, proper stacking, labelling and identification of materials.

- Maintain 5S standards in all stores areas.

- Ensure proper handling and preservation of moisture-sensitive, hazardous and high-value materials.





Educational Qualification

- Graduate in any discipline; preferably B.Com.

- Knowledge of SAP inventory management and MS Excel is preferred.

Experience

- 8–10 years of relevant experience in Stores/Inventory/Materials Management.

- Experience in a foundry, steel, engineering or manufacturing industry will be preferred.

- Candidates with experience handling heavy raw materials, consumables, engineering spares and production-related inventory will have an advantage.

Pay: Up to ₹700,000.00 per year
