Company Description

a company based with Head office in Mumbai. We are sourcing engineering components from Rajkot like Sand castings, investment castings and precision machined parts and sheet metal parts/fabrication.

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Working Hours: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM ( 8 hours)

Work Environment:

Travel to supplier locations (up to 20%-50%, depending on the role's scope).

Combination of office and supplier's manufacturing floor/foundry environments.

CTC: ₹3,00,000 – ₹4,00,000 per annum (per month 25,000 – 35000)

Local Candidates (in or around Rajkot) preferred.

Role Overview

looking for proactive and detail-oriented Expeditor Engineers vendor coordination, follow-ups, and manufacturing progress tracking to achieve dispatch plan. This role is ideal for candidates with machining workshop experience and strong process understanding.

Key Responsibilities

The Quality Engineer at Rajkot is responsible for ensuring that all suppliers deliver quality parts, in compliance with drawings/specifications and relevant standards.

Collaborate with suppliers to establish and maintain robust quality systems, perform audits, and drive continuous improvement efforts to meet business objectives and our customer's expectations.

Coordinate with our purchase and vendor teams

Monitor manufacturing progress and track job/order status

Interpret engineering drawings and specifications and guide suppliers





Identify delays and proactively drive corrective actions

Maintain QC record of instruments, inspection reports, and documentation.

Use of appropriate inspection tools/instruments and testing methods to maintain product quality. Knowledge of using vernier, micrometer, height gauge, etc

Maintain Inspection reports of all parts and provide ‘supplier quality performance’ (right quality parts, rejection, on-time delivery, and corrective actions.) reports to management.

Support supplier audits.

Collaborate with suppliers to investigate and resolve non-conformances.

Act as a link between the company and suppliers for quality-related issues.

Resolve supplier-related issues and improve overall product quality.

Review Drawing/design/application requirements to ensure manufacturability and quality standards are met at the supplier level.

Required Qualifications

Degree/ Diploma (or ITI with good technical knowhow in inspection) in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience Requirements

1-4 years of experience in supplier quality, manufacturing quality, or a related role experience in a machining workshop/ vendor coordination dept.

Knowledge of Sand casting, investment casting, fabrication, machining processes.

Exposure to precision cast parts /CNC VMC machined parts Preferred

Technical Skills:

 Hands on experience of measuring tools and methods.

 Experience of preparing systematic inspection documents.

Soft Skills:

Solid drawing reading and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with suppliers and cross-functional teams.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
