Key Responsibilities

- Dispense medicines to IP and OP patients as per valid prescriptions.
- Verify prescriptions for correct medicine, dosage, quantity, and instructions.
- Explain medication usage and precautions to patients when required.
- Maintain accurate records of medicines issued and received.
- Monitor stock levels and prepare purchase/reorder requirements.
- Check expiry dates and ensure proper storage of medicines.
- Maintain separate records for controlled, high-alert, and other regulated medicines as applicable.
- Receive medicines from suppliers and verify quantity, batch number, expiry date, and invoice details.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO principles for stock management.
- Maintain pharmacy cleanliness and proper arrangement of medicines.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, purchase, accounts, and other departments regarding medication requirements.
- Assist during stock verification and periodic pharmacy audits.
- Report damaged, expired, short-supplied, or mismatched medicines to the Pharmacy In-charge.




- Ensure compliance with hospital pharmacy procedures and applicable statutory requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and hospital information.
- Perform other pharmacy-related duties assigned by the management.

Qualification

- D.Pharm / B.Pharm from a recognized institution.
- Valid Kerala State Pharmacy Council registration.
- Experienced candidates may be considered depending on the hospital's requirement.

Skills & Competencies

- Valuable knowledge of medicines and their usage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with pharmacy software.
- Good inventory and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays when required.
- Responsible, disciplined, and patient-friendly approach.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
