Job Summary

House of Doh is looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Captain to lead the front-of-house service team. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth daily operations, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and maintain high service standards aligned with our sourdough pizzeria & café concept.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee day-to-day floor operations and ensure smooth service flow.
- Lead, train, and supervise service staff to maintain high standards.
- Provide excellent customer service and handle guest queries or complaints professionally.
- Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness, and overall ambiance of the dining area.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team for timely order execution.
- Take orders, suggest menu items, and upsell specials when required.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, especially sourdough pizzas, beverages, and café offerings.
- Monitor staff grooming, discipline, and performance.




- Assist in billing, cash handling, and POS operations.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.

Requirements & Skills

- 2–5 years of experience in a similar role (Captain / Senior Steward).
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership ability with a hands-on approach.
- Good knowledge of restaurant service standards and etiquette.
- Ability to handle busy service hours efficiently.
- Familiarity with POS systems.
- Passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction.
