Job Description

Sri Renuka Yellamma Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and skilled CNC Milling Programmer to join our manufacturing team in Auto Nagar, Visakhapatnam.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in CNC milling programming, machine setup, tool selection, and production machining. The candidate will be responsible for developing and modifying CNC programs and ensuring accurate, high-quality production as per engineering drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Create, edit, and optimize CNC milling programs.

Develop CNC programs based on engineering drawings and component requirements.

Set up CNC milling machines, tools, fixtures, and workpieces.

Select appropriate cutting tools and machining parameters.

Set tool offsets, work offsets, and coordinate systems.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and technical specifications.

Perform first-piece inspection and dimensional verification.

Modify CNC programs to achieve required component accuracy and surface finish.

Identify and resolve machining and programming issues.

Optimize cutting speeds, feeds, tool paths, and cycle times.

Monitor machining operations and ensure smooth production.

Work closely with the production and quality teams.

Maintain quality, productivity, and safety standards.

Minimize tool wear, machining time, and material wastage.

Maintain CNC programs and related production documentation.

Required Skills





Strong knowledge of CNC Milling Programming.

Hands-on experience with CNC milling machines.

Knowledge of CNC controls such as Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi will be an advantage.

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

Good knowledge of cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and machining parameters.

Knowledge of tool offsets and work coordinate systems.

Experience with drilling, tapping, pocketing, contouring, facing, and other milling operations.

Knowledge of measuring instruments such as vernier caliper, micrometer, and height gauge.

Basic knowledge of CAD/CAM software will be an added advantage.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Good attention to detail and quality awareness.

Educational Qualification

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Machinist, Tool & Die, or a related technical qualification.

Relevant CNC programming and machining experience will be preferred.

Experience

2–5 years of relevant experience in CNC Milling Programming and Operations preferred.

Candidates with solid hands-on CNC programming experience may be considered based on skills.

Preferred Candidate

Immediate joiners are highly preferred.

Candidates who can join immediately or within a short notice period will be given priority.

Candidates with practical experience in CNC milling programming and machine setup are preferred.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
