BIM Manager – MEP

Role Purpose :

The MEP BIM Manager leads MEP BIM delivery across assigned projects, ensuring models are technically correct, coordinated, compliant with project requirements and delivered within agreed timelines. The role connects leadership, project teams, BIM engineers/modelers and clients/consultants through disciplined execution, coordination, quality and delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

- Review project scope, BIM requirements, BEP, LOD and deliverables.
- Set Revit standards, templates, naming, coordinates and model structure.
- Plan manpower and allocate HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection work as applicable.
- Set TATs, milestones and production targets.
- Lead multidisciplinary coordination and clash resolution.
- Run model QA/QC and stage-gate reviews.
- Track client comments, technical queries and issue closure.
- Mentor BIM engineers, coordinators and modelers.
- Report progress, risks, manpower, quality and delivery forecast to leadership.

MEP Coordination & QA/QC :

- Review architectural/structural interfaces and service routing.
- Prioritize clashes and assign clear owners.
- Check model health, geometry, parameters, systems/connectivity, views, sheets, links and coordinates.
- Maintain QA/QC checklists and rework tracking.
- Identify recurring errors and implement corrective/preventive actions.

- Client commitments that have not been internally validated
- Strategic decisions outside delegated authority

Required Skills:

- Strong MEP BIM management experience
- Advanced Revit capability
- Strong multidisciplinary coordination
- Navisworks and/or ACC/BIM collaboration experience
- LOD/BIM standards and QA/QC knowledge
- Planning, tracking and reporting
- Solid written and verbal communication
- Leadership and accountability

Ideal Candidate Profile :

- Experienced MEP BIM professional who has led teams/projects
- Strong HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing coordination knowledge; Fire Protection is a plus
- Structured thinker with sound technical judgment
- Assertive yet professional communicator
- Comfortable with deadlines, escalation and client-facing technical discussions
- Focused on delivery ownership, not only individual modeling
