Video Editor – Fresher

About the Role

Illusiview is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Video Editor Fresher to join our team in Coimbatore.

No professional experience is required for this role. If you have a genuine interest in video editing, enjoy creating content, and are eager to learn and improve your editing skills, this opportunity is for you.

You will get hands-on experience working on Instagram Reels, social media content, promotional videos and branded content, while learning from our creative team and working on real-world projects.

What You'll Do

- Edit short-form videos for Instagram, YouTube and other social media platforms.
- Assist in creating Reels, promotional videos and branded content.
- Learn and apply effective cuts, transitions, text, music and visual effects.
- Understand and implement social media trends and popular editing styles.
- Create engaging edits with good pacing and visual storytelling.
- Make basic adjustments to audio, colour and video quality.
- Add simple text animations and effects where required.
- Work with the creative and content teams to understand briefs and execute edits.
- Take feedback positively and improve your editing based on creative direction.
- Organize project files and deliver videos within deadlines.
- Continuously learn new editing techniques, trends and tools.

Requirements

- No prior skilled experience required. Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Genuine interest in video editing and content creation.
- Basic knowledge of any video editing software is preferred.
- Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro is an advantage.
- Understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts or other short-form content is a plus.
- Willingness to learn new editing techniques and software.
- Good sense of creativity, music and visual storytelling.
- Ability to take feedback and make improvements.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines.
- A personal portfolio, college project, personal edits or showreel is an advantage but not mandatory.
