Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Cashier to handle daily cash transactions, billing collections, receipts, payments, and related financial activities. The candidate should have good numerical skills, accuracy, honesty, and basic computer knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle daily cash, card, UPI, and other payment collections.
- Generate and issue receipts for patient and hospital transactions.
- Verify bills, payment details, and supporting documents before accepting payments.
- Maintain accurate records of daily cash collections and transactions.
- Perform daily cash counting and reconciliation.
- Prepare and submit daily collection reports to the Accounts Department.
- Handle refunds and cancellations as per hospital policies and authorization procedures.
- Coordinate with Billing, Front Office, Insurance, and Accounts Departments.




- Maintain proper documentation and ensure confidentiality of financial information.
- Identify and report discrepancies in cash or billing transactions.
- Ensure proper handover of cash and documents at the end of the shift.
- Follow hospital policies, financial procedures, and applicable quality standards.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Accounts Manager or Management.

Qualification

- Any Degree / B.Com / equivalent qualification preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge is required.
- Knowledge of MS Office and billing software will be an added advantage.

Experience

- 0-1 years of experience as a Cashier, Billing Executive, or in a similar role.
- Hospital/Healthcare experience will be an added advantage.
