Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer – GCP to join our Cloud Infrastructure Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, implementing, automating, and managing cloud-native infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

This role will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure while driving Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Kubernetes platform engineering, CI/CD automation, and cloud governance initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with development, security, and platform engineering teams to enable reliable software delivery and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Build and maintain highly available Kubernetes environments using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
- Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployments
- Containerize applications using Docker and manage container orchestration using Kubernetes
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes
- Monitor cloud environments to ensure availability, reliability, performance, and cost optimization
- Implement cloud security best practices, IAM policies, networking, and compliance controls
- Collaborate with application development teams to support cloud-native application deployments
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and Kubernetes-related issues




- Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability strategies
- Create operational documentation, deployment standards, and infrastructure runbooks
- Participate in on-call support and production incident management when required

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering,



or a related field
- 5–8 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience managing production Kubernetes clusters using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
- Proven expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of Linux systems administration
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer Certification
- Google Professional Cloud Architect Certification
- Experience implementing GitOps using Argo CD or Flux
- Knowledge of service mesh technologies such as Istio
- Experience with cloud networking, hybrid cloud, or multi-cloud environments
- Familiarity with FinOps and cloud cost optimization practices
- Experience with policy-as-code tools such as Open Policy Agent (OPA)
