Job Title - IT Asset Administrator

Location: Pune (Work from Office - Baner / Hinjewadi)

Experience: 2–5 Years

Shift timing - 24x7 Rotational

Job Summary

The IT Asset Administrator will be responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of IT hardware assets including procurement, inventory management, deployment, tracking, maintenance, audits, and disposal. The role requires coordination with vendors, internal teams, and end users to ensure accurate asset records, compliance, and optimal asset utilization.

Key Responsibilities

Asset Management

Maintain accurate inventory records for laptops, desktops, servers, network devices, monitors, peripherals, and accessories.

Manage asset allocation, movement, transfer, return, and de-allocation.

Track asset lifecycle from procurement to disposal.

Maintain CMDB and asset register with serial numbers, ownership, warranty, and location details.

Conduct periodic physical asset verification and reconciliation.

Procurement & Vendor Management

Coordinate hardware procurement activities.

Obtain quotations, compare pricing, and process purchase requests.





Liaise with OEMs and vendors for warranty claims, repairs, and replacements.

Track orders, deliveries, and asset onboarding.

Hardware Support

Basic troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.

Coordinate repairs and warranty services.

Support onboarding and offboarding asset requirements.

Ensure proper installation and deployment of hardware devices.

Compliance & Audits

Conduct monthly and quarterly asset audits.

Ensure compliance with asset management policies.

Manage secure disposal of retired assets.

Maintain documentation for asset movements, disposal, and procurement records.

Reporting

Generate inventory, utilization, warranty, and audit reports.

Track asset aging and replacement schedules.

Provide management dashboards and compliance reports.
