Job Purpose:
Ensure application quality, performance, security
Automate application testing processes
Design, implement automation testing frameworks
Integrate test automation into CICD/DevOps
Job Responsibilities:
Translate product vision into test scripts
Define project testing scope
Install, configure, maintain automated testing tools
Implement continuous improvement, latest testing trends
Sketch automated procedures, blend manual testing
Ensure high test coverage, quality
Work with teams on Test Driven Development
Create traceability templates for requirements, tests
Review test strategy documents
Design test cases, focus on boundary conditions
Implement requirement tracing matrix
Write automation scripts, implement software applications
Identify software weaknesses, quality issues, report
Collaborate with design team to solve faults
Set up automation in CICD/DevOps pipeline
Manage metadata for test scripts, results
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related
Key Skills:
QA Automation, Load Testing, API Testing
Test Design, Execution, Reporting
Building comprehensive testing strategy
Hands-on BDD, Selenium
Automation with Java, Python, object-oriented languages
Proficient in web services, API, REST, gRPC testing
Knowledge of SQL,
NoSQL databases testing
Mobile Test Automation (Appium, Espresso, XCUITest)
Testing on cloud platforms
Experience Required:
10+ years in testing domain
3+ years as testing lead
Major Stakeholders:
Internal: QA Head, Engineering Leads, Product Owner, Business experts, IT audit, BTG Unit heads
External: Partners, prospective suppliers
