Key Responsibilities

- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements and legal documents, including contracts, MOUs, and litigation papers.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, tribunals, and before regulatory authorities.
- Provide legal advice on a variety of matters including corporate, civil, and property law.
- Conduct legal research, prepare case files, and draft legal opinions.
- Analyze legal issues, statutes, and case law to provide sound counsel to clients.
- Lead or assist in due diligence, property searches, and title verification (especially relevant in real estate matters).
- Coordinate and liaise with external counsel and clients, ensuring proper communication and workflow.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, including regulatory filings and updates (e.g., RERA, Companies Act, etc.).
- Support the formation of societies, documentation for corporate actions, and registration of projects when required.
- Maintain client confidentiality and act with absolute integrity in all professional dealings.

Requirements

- LL.B.



degree from a recognized institution and valid membership of the Bar Council of India.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
- Strong knowledge of Indian legal system and procedures, especially in corporate, civil, and/or real estate law.
- Demonstrated ability to draft, negotiate, and review complex legal documents independently.
- Experience representing clients in courts/tribunals and handling litigation/corporate matters end-to-end.
- Excellent research, drafting, and analytical skills.
- Exceptional communication (English; proficiency in Marathi is an advantage), interpersonal, and advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines effectively.
- High ethical standards, skilled attitude, and discretion in handling sensitive information.
- Proficiency with MS Office and legal research databases.
