Video Editor – Reels & YouTube Content

We are looking for a creative Video Editor who can transform raw footage into engaging Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and long-form YouTube videos. Our content style is natural, authentic, and minimally edited, so we need someone who understands how to improve a video without making it look overly produced.

The ideal candidate should be skilled in split-screen editing, accurate captioning, clean cuts, audio enhancement, and brand-consistent visual presentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit raw footage into Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and YouTube videos.
- Combine multiple short videos or reels into cohesive long-form YouTube content.
- Create engaging split-screen layouts featuring speakers, screen recordings, websites, images, or supporting footage.
- Add explicit, accurate, and properly timed captions.
- Remove unnecessary pauses, mistakes, repetitions, and background disturbances.
- Improve audio clarity, volume balance, lighting, and colour where required.
- Maintain a raw and authentic content style with minimal effects.
- Follow the company’s branding across fonts, colours, caption styles, layouts, logos, and other visual elements.
- Maintain consistency with the content style used across our Instagram pages.
- Resize and optimise videos for Instagram, YouTube, and other social media platforms.
- Organise raw footage, project files, and final exported videos properly.
- Complete edits within the agreed timelines and incorporate feedback when required.

What We Are Looking For

- Hands-on experience editing Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and long-form YouTube videos.




- Strong understanding of split-screen video editing.
- Experience with captions, subtitles, jump cuts, overlays, and basic motion graphics.
- Ability to maintain a natural and minimally edited video style.
- Good understanding of social media content formats and audience attention spans.
- Strong sense of visual consistency and brand presentation.
- Ability to select the best portions from raw footage and structure them into engaging content.
- Attention to detail, especially with caption accuracy and timing.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple video projects.

Preferred Editing Tools

Candidates may use Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or any other professional video-editing software.

Important Creative Direction

We do not want heavily animated or overly polished videos. Our objective is to retain the authenticity of the original footage while improving its clarity, structure, presentation, and engagement. Edits should feel clean, natural, professional, and aligned with our brand.
