Position: NDT Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an NDT Engineer responsible for carrying out Non-Destructive Testing activities to identify defects and ensure the quality and integrity of components, welds, castings, and fabricated structures as per applicable standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform NDT inspections using UT, RT, MT, PT, and Visual Testing (VT) methods as per qualification and certification.
- Interpret and evaluate NDT results as per applicable codes, standards, and acceptance criteria.
- Review engineering drawings, inspection requirements, and customer specifications.
- Conduct inspection of welds, castings, forgings, and machined components.
- Prepare NDT reports, inspection records, and test documentation.
- Identify, record, and report defects or discontinuities.
- Ensure proper calibration and condition of NDT equipment and accessories.
- Coordinate with Quality, Production, and Client Inspection teams during inspection activities.
- Follow applicable standards such as ASME, ASTM, API, ISO,



and customer specifications.
- Maintain proper inspection records and traceability.
- Follow safety procedures and quality requirements during inspection activities.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of NDT methods and inspection procedures.
- Knowledge of engineering drawings and basic GD&T;.
- Ability to interpret NDT indications and prepare inspection reports.
- Knowledge of relevant NDT codes, standards, and acceptance criteria.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work at manufacturing and project sites.

Qualification

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Certification

ASNT / PCN / ISO 9712 Level II certification in relevant NDT methods is preferred.

Preferred Industry Experience

Experience in fabrication, foundry, machining, pressure vessels, pipelines, valves, oil & gas, or heavy engineering industries will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
