About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer / Software Test Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing, Mobile Application Testing, API Testing, Regression Testing, and Defect Management.

You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure our web/mobile applications are reliable, reliable, and production-ready.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze business and technical requirements and provide testability feedback.
- Prepare and maintain test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
- Perform Functional, Smoke, Sanity, Regression, System, Integration, and UAT testing.
- Test mobile applications on Android and iOS devices and different OS versions.
- Perform mobile compatibility testing across multiple devices and screen sizes.
- Conduct mobile application stability and sanity testing using emulators and real devices.
- Validate REST APIs using Postman.
- Monitor and analyze API requests and responses using tools such as Charles Proxy.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using JIRA or similar tools.
- Provide clear defect reports with reproduction steps, expected/actual results, logs, screenshots, and supporting evidence.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues, troubleshoot defects, and verify fixes.
- Perform regression testing after bug fixes and new feature releases.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Support release validation and production-quality checks.
- Maintain QA documentation and continuously improve testing processes.




- Contribute to improving overall product quality and test coverage.

Required SkillsManual Testing

- Strong understanding of STLC and SDLC.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Functional Testing
- Smoke Testing
- Sanity Testing
- Regression Testing
- System Testing
- Integration Testing
- UAT
- Good understanding of the defect lifecycle.

Mobile Testing

- Hands-on experience testing Android applications.
- Exposure to iOS application testing.
- Experience with device and OS compatibility testing.
- Understanding of mobile application installation, build validation, and stability testing.
- Experience with Android Studio emulators is an advantage.
- Exposure to cloud device platforms such as Sauce Labs is a plus.

API Testing

- Hands-on experience with Postman.
- Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, status codes, request/response validation, headers, and JSON.
- Ability to identify API-related issues during application testing.
- Experience with Charles Proxy or similar network monitoring tools is an advantage.

Defect & Test Management

- Experience with ZOHO SPRINT or similar defect management tools.
- Ability to create detailed and reproducible bug reports.
- Experience maintaining test cases, test scenarios, and test execution reports.

Automation – Good to Have

- Basic exposure to Appium or other mobile automation frameworks.
- Basic scripting knowledge in Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar languages.

Preferred Qualifications





- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of relevant QA/testing experience.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to independently plan and execute testing activities.

Nice to Have

- Appium automation experience.
- Basic Python scripting.
- Experience with CI/CD environments.
- Experience with GitHub/GitLab.
- Experience with cloud-based mobile testing platforms.
- Exposure to performance, security, or database testing.
