Job Description for Hair Stylist

Position: Hair Stylist

Experience: 1–3 years preferred

Location: Nungambakkam (chennai)

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

- Perform professional haircuts, trimming, styling, and basic hair treatments.
- Provide basic hair and scalp massage as part of hair-care services.
- Consult with clients to understand their preferred hairstyle and recommend suitable styles.
- Perform shampooing, conditioning, blow-drying, and basic styling.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the workstation, tools, and equipment.
- Handle clients professionally and ensure a pleasant salon experience.
- Stay updated with current hairstyles and basic hair-care techniques.
- Follow salon service standards and safety procedures.

Requirements

- Previous experience as a Hair Stylist / Hairdresser is preferred.




- Good knowledge of haircuts and basic hair styling.
- Basic experience in hair/scalp massage.
- Positive communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to understand client requirements and provide suitable recommendations.
- Neat, well-groomed, and professional appearance.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and services.
