Job Description – Field Supervisor – Farming

Designation: Field Supervisor
Location: Pollachi
Experience: 0–5 Years in Agriculture/Farming Operations
Qualification: Diploma / B.Sc. Agriculture or relevant qualification

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily farming and field activities as per the crop plan.
- Monitor land preparation, planting, irrigation, fertilization, weeding, and harvesting activities.
- Coordinate and allocate daily work to farm workers and contract labourers.
- Monitor crop growth, identify pest/disease issues, and coordinate corrective actions.
- Ensure proper usage of fertilizers, pesticides, seeds, and other agricultural inputs.
- Maintain records of manpower, field activities, material consumption, and crop yield.
- Monitor irrigation systems and ensure efficient water utilization.




- Ensure compliance with farm safety, hygiene, and company procedures.
- Coordinate with the Farm Manager / Agriculture team for planning and execution.
- Monitor field productivity, minimize wastage, and achieve targeted yield and quality.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of agricultural and farm operations.
- Labour handling and field supervision skills.
- Basic knowledge of crop protection, fertilizers, and irrigation.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to work in outdoor/field conditions.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and farm record maintenance.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
