Presales Solution Architect - Operations Support & RFP Management | Bangalore

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Presales Solution Architect to lead solution design, managed services proposals, and RFP/RFI responses for Operations Support engagements. The individual will partner with sales, delivery, engineering, and customer stakeholders to develop competitive, scalable, and cost-effective solutions that align with client business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Presales & Solutioning

- Engage with sales teams and customers to understand business requirements and operational challenges.
- Design end-to-end managed service and operations support solutions.
- Develop service delivery models, operating procedures, support structures, and transition plans.
- Create solution architectures covering people, process, technology, governance, and SLAs.
- Conduct client workshops, discovery sessions, and solution presentations.

RFP/RFI/RFQ Management

- Lead end-to-end response management for RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.
- Analyze customer requirements and compliance criteria.
- Coordinate with SMEs, delivery teams, finance, legal, and operations to prepare winning responses.
- Develop technical, operational, and commercial sections of proposals.
- Ensure proposal quality, compliance, and timely submission.
- Maintain reusable proposal assets, templates, and knowledge repositories.





Operations Support Design

- Define support models including L1, L2, and L3 structures.
- Establish SLAs, KPIs, governance frameworks, and escalation processes.
- Design service management processes aligned with ITIL best practices.
- Develop staffing plans, shift models, support coverage, and capacity planning approaches.
- Create continuous improvement and automation roadmaps.

Costing & Commercial Support

- Work with finance and delivery teams on effort estimation and pricing.
- Build resource models and operational cost structures.
- Support deal reviews, margin optimization, and risk assessment.

Stakeholder Management

- Collaborate with sales, account teams, delivery managers, architects, and leadership.
- Present solutions to customer executives and technical stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted advisor during bid pursuits and solution discussions.

Required Qualifications

- 8+ years of experience in Presales, Solution Architecture, Managed Services, or Operations Support.
- Proven experience managing large-scale RFP/RFI/RFQ responses.
- Robust understanding of IT Operations, Service Management, and Managed Services.
- Experience with ITIL, operational governance, and service transition frameworks.
- Excellent presentation, proposal writing, and communication skills.
