Position Summary
TEACH is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Lecturer – Accounts to teach accounting and commerce subjects to Deaf and Hard of Hearing students. The role requires a candidate with strong conceptual knowledge, practical orientation, and a passion for inclusive education.

Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Learning
- Teach Accounting and related Commerce subjects.
- Simplify accounting concepts using practical examples and visual teaching techniques.
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and assessments.
- Support students in improving problem-solving and analytical skills.
Student Development
- Monitor academic progress and provide timely feedback.
- Conduct doubt-solving sessions and remedial support where required.
- Encourage practical application of accounting concepts.
Academic Responsibilities
- Evaluate assignments, projects, and examinations.
- Maintain attendance and academic records.
- Participate in curriculum planning and departmental activities.
- Support institutional events and academic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Commerce (M.Com).
- CA Inter / CMA Inter qualification will be an added advantage.
- B.Ed. or NET/SET qualification is desirable but not mandatory.
Experience
- Fresher or minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Accounting or Commerce subjects.
- Experience teaching undergraduate Commerce students will be preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Financial Accounting and related Commerce subjects.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to simplify complex accounting concepts.
- Good classroom management and student engagement skills.
- Familiarity with MS Office and digital learning tools.
Preferred Attributes
- Willingness to teach Deaf and Hard of Hearing students.
- Openness to learning Indian Sign Language (ISL). (Training will be provided by TEACH.)

Job Types: Full time, Permanent
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹550,000.00 per year
