We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated School Librarian to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the school library, supporting the academic curriculum, promoting literacy and reading for pleasure, and providing information literacy instruction to students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the school library, including circulation, cataloging, and maintenance of the library collection.
- Assist students and staff in locating and using library resources, including books, digital materials, and databases.
- Develop and implement engaging library programs and activities that promote reading and literacy.
- Collaborate with teachers to support curriculum needs and integrate library resources into classroom instruction.
- Provide information literacy instruction to help students develop research skills and become effective users of information.
- Maintain an organized, welcoming, and inclusive library environment.
- Utilize library management software to manage library records and statistics.
- Promote library services and resources through various communication channels.
- Stay current with trends and developments in library and information science,



particularly in the context of school libraries.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Library Science, Education, or a related field
- State certification as a School Librarian (if required by state law).
- Robust knowledge of library cataloging and classification systems.
- Proficiency in using library management software and digital databases.
- Excellent research, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for working with children and fostering a love of reading.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous experience working in a school library or educational setting.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies and digital resources in libraries.
- Experience in program development and literacy promotion.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
