We are seeking a commercially sharp and agile Purchase Executive to drive procurement operations for our trading business. In this role, your primary mission is to source high-demand trade goods, negotiate the lowest possible landed costs, and coordinate strict shipping timelines. You will act as the vital bridge between international/domestic manufacturers and our B2B sales team to ensure highly profitable and seamless trading cycles.➡ Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Sourcing & Cost Negotiation
- Identify and vet global/domestic manufacturers to build a robust trading supplier network.
- Negotiate fiercely on bulk pricing, minimum order quantities (MOQs), and favorable credit terms.
- Calculate total landed costs (including customs, freight, and duties) to protect trading margins.
Order Execution & Global Logistics
- Issue purchase orders (POs) mapped precisely against client sales orders to prevent excess dead stock.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics partners for smooth transit.
- Track shipment milestones proactively and provide regular ETA updates to the sales division.
Quality Assurance & Risk Management
- Manage product compliance and ensure suppliers provide all necessary certifications and testing reports.
- Resolve quality disputes and manage claims for damaged goods or quantity shortages immediately.
- Monitor market price fluctuations of commodities and trade goods to optimize buying times.
- Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 2+ years of procurement experience strictly within a trading, export-import, or wholesale environment.
Skills & Core Competencies
- Exceptional commercial negotiation and deal-closing skills.
- Solid understanding of trade logistics, including Incoterms (FOB, CIF, EXW), customs documentation, and Letters of Credit (LC).
- Proficiency in inventory/ERP software and Advanced MS Excel for margin calculations.
- High agility to thrive in a fast-paced setting where market prices and demands shift daily.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
