- Valid registration with the State Pharmacy Council
Job Responsibilities
- Dispense medicines accurately as per prescriptions and hospital protocols.
- Verify prescriptions, dosage, drug interactions, and medication instructions.
- Maintain proper records of medicines, stock, expiry dates, and controlled drugs.
- Ensure safe storage and handling of medicines.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication-related matters.
- Counsel patients regarding proper medication use, dosage, precautions, and storage.
- Monitor inventory and assist with timely procurement of medicines.
- Follow hospital policies, pharmacy standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness,
organization, and safety within the pharmacy.
- Perform other pharmacy-related duties assigned by the management.
Preferred Skills
- Good knowledge of medicines and pharmaceutical practices.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hospital workplace.
- Basic computer knowledge and pharmacy inventory management skills.
- Freshers and experienced candidates may apply.
