Speech Therapist / Speech Language Pathologist – Pebbles Therapy Centre (Anna Nagar)

Job Summary

Pebbles Therapy Centre – Anna Nagar is seeking a qualified and passionate Speech Therapist to assess, diagnose, and treat children with speech, language, communication, and feeding/swallowing difficulties. The role involves working closely with children, parents, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver effective, individualized therapy and ensure measurable progress.

Key Responsibilities1. Assessment & Diagnosis

- Evaluate children with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Conduct standardized and informal assessments to determine the nature and severity of difficulties.
- Analyze case history and collaborate with parents and other professionals for accurate diagnosis.

2. Therapy Planning & Intervention

- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans (IEPs) based on assessment outcomes.
- Provide therapy for:
- Speech sound disorders
- Language delays and disorders
- Fluency (stammering/stuttering)
- Voice disorders
- Feeding and swallowing difficulties
- Use evidence-based techniques and age-appropriate therapy methods.

3. Patient & Parent Engagement

- Communicate effectively with children and parents regarding therapy goals and progress.
- Counsel and guide parents on home programs and carryover strategies.
- Provide regular feedback and progress updates.

4. Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain accurate records including assessment reports, therapy plans, and progress notes.




- Prepare reports for parents, schools, or medical professionals as required.
- Ensure documentation is up to date and compliant with centre standards.

5. Multidisciplinary Collaboration

- Work closely with occupational therapists, behavioral therapists, and special educators.
- Participate in case discussions and contribute to holistic child development plans.

6. Professional Responsibilities

- Stay updated with latest practices in speech and language therapy.
- Maintain ethical and professional standards in all interactions.
- Support centre initiatives such as awareness programs, parent workshops, and outreach activities.

Eligibility Criteria

- BASLP / MASLP (Mandatory)
- Valid RCI registration preferred
- 0–5 years of experience (freshers with strong clinical knowledge can apply)

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
