We are looking for a caring, responsible, and motivated Rehab Assistant to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will support therapists and patients during rehabilitation sessions and help maintain a safe, professional, and positive environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and other rehabilitation professionals during patient sessions.
- Support patients with prescribed exercises and rehabilitation activities under professional supervision.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, positioning, and daily rehabilitation activities as directed.
- Prepare and maintain treatment areas and rehabilitation equipment.
- Monitor and report patients' progress, concerns, or changes in condition to the supervising therapist.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records where required.
- Ensure rehabilitation equipment is clean, safe, and properly stored.
- Provide encouragement and emotional support to patients during their rehabilitation journey.




- Follow all healthcare, infection-control, safety, and workplace procedures.
- Work professionally with patients, families, therapists, nurses, and other staff members.

Requirements

- Previous experience in a rehabilitation, healthcare, hospital, clinic, or care setting is preferred.
- Relevant qualification in Rehabilitation, Physiotherapy Assistance, Healthcare Assistance, Nursing, or a related field is an advantage.
- Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to patient care.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Physically able to assist patients with mobility and rehabilitation activities.
- Basic computer and documentation skills.
- Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
