A bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, delivering exceptional customer service, managing bar inventory, and maintaining a clean, safe, and productive bar area.
Core Responsibilities
- Drink Preparation: Mix traditional, specialty, and custom cocktails, along with beer and wine service, ensuring accuracy and proper garnishing.
- Customer Service: Create a welcoming atmosphere, take orders, make recommendations, and handle guest complaints.
- Bar Maintenance: Clean glasses, utensils, and bar surfaces; restock ice, garnishes, and liquor supplies.
- Operations & Safety: Adhere to alcohol service laws (check IDs), manage cash drawers/POS systems, and follow safety/sanitation procedures.
